The short version
- We read public posts and your public website. We never sign in to your social accounts.
- We store your company profile, the conversations we find and your drafts.
- You can export or delete everything from Settings.
What we keep
To run your inbox, we store:
- Your account email.
- Your company profile: what you do, who it’s for and the facts you approve.
- What you track and when the daily check runs.
- The Slack workspace and channel you pick for the digest.
- The conversations we find, why each one surfaced and your drafts.
- Your plan and payment status from Stripe.
What we read
We read pages from your public website to write your company profile. You review and approve it before any check starts. Public pages can contain mistakes, so check what we found.
Each day, we read public posts that match what you track on the sources you turn on.
What we write
For each conversation we write a short reason it surfaced and, when your approved facts support one, a draft reply. Drafts stay in Scrollby until you copy them.
What we never do
We never sign in to your social accounts, and we never post, like or send messages from them. In Slack, we only post to the channel you pick.
Services we use
Slack credentials are encrypted on our servers. Stripe handles checkout and payments, and we never store your card number. Other service providers read websites and public posts for us, send our email, host Scrollby and run the AI models that write reasons and drafts.
Your controls
In Settings you can edit your profile, change what you track, disconnect Slack and manage your plan. Disconnecting Slack doesn’t cancel your plan.
You can export or delete everything from Settings › Account. For any other request about your data, email support.
Deleting your account
We sign you out everywhere, cancel your subscription, disconnect Slack and remove your profile, conversations and drafts. If a service is slow to respond, we keep retrying until it’s done.
We keep two small things: a private record that your email already used a free trial, and the billing records Stripe is required to keep. Digests already posted in Slack stay in your workspace.
About this policy
Scrollby is in early access, and this policy isn’t final. Before general launch it will add who runs Scrollby, how long we keep each kind of data and the full list of service providers, and it will go through legal review.
